Sue Perkins Used To Hit Paul Hollywood In The Privates With Baguettes

    Sue Perkins has reminisced on her time working with Paul Hollywood on The Great British Bake Off - and how the pair would lark around on set together.

    'If I'd just finished a link that wasn't really going anywhere, he'd appear and uppercut me with a baguette that would knock my teeth together. What I loved was we never formulated a plan to do that, it just emerged.

    Paul, 54, moved with it to the new network, but Mel, Sue and Mary Berry left the series.
    Earlier this month, Hollywood star Blake Lively admitted she was desperate for one of Paul's handshakes of approval after baking a unicorn cake. 
    The Gossip Girl star, 33, posted a picture of a stunning pink cake covered in floral decorations and revealed if she didn't get Paul's approval she'd 'quit'.

    Clearly delighted by his response, Blake excitedly reposted the comment on her Instagram Story several times.
    Paul's handshakes have become widely recognised as the highest commendation for baked goods on The Great British Bake Off  and its US counterpart, The Great American Baking Show.
    Paul offered his first handshake during the third series of the British based baking competition, dạy làm bánh lạnh however the honour is used sparingly.
    He awarded just three handshakes during the most recent series of the programme which aired over the summer of 2020.
